WhatsApp’s new Status feature, allows users share photos, GIFs or videos overlaid with drawings, emojis and a caption that will be visible to selected friends for 24 hours, before disappearing.
Ifeadesblog.com.ng has found a way you can save someone’s WhatsApp video and pictures in their status without asking them to send it to you. Check how it is done ?
Open your File Manager.
Click the Option button.
Click, Tick or Check “Show or view Hidden files”.
Go back to your file manager.
Locate where your Whatsapp Folder is, in your file manager
Open Media Folder
The first folder you will see is in the Media folder is “.Statuses”
(if you didn’t follow step 4 the “.Statuses” wouldn’t show)
Click or Open the “.Statuses” folder
This folder contains all the viewed status or story in your WhatsApp over 24 hours period. (After 24 hours, it delete itself automatically). To save the viewed file for future use, copy or move the Video or Picture you want to save to another folder of your choice.
You can also use the “Sort” option from the “.Statuses” folder to make it easier to find the Pictures or Videos you have been looking for
I hope this helped? If not.
