How to Download Facebook and YouTube Videos on Android devices


YouTube for mobile devices has taken video watching to places no one could have ever imagined even just a few years ago. Unfortunately, YouTube relies on an internet connection to stream videos to your device, and there are times that you simply don’t have access to Wi-Fi or your data network. With a bit of foresight, you can download YouTube videos to your device when you have an internet connection and view them later, even when you don’t.


 Step 1:

    • Launch your Android’s web browser (Chrome, Opera mini, UC Browser). I am using UC browser for this Tutorial)
    • Go to https://youtube.com

Step 2:

  • Go to the video you want to Download (Search for the video)

Step 3:

Copy the video URL or Video Link (E.g. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PWsXQKv6UiA)

Press Down the Address Bar for few second to Copy.

Step 4:

Open a New browser tab

How to open a new tab on UC browser 

  • Press and hold the Tab button below the screen


  • Tap the Tab button below the screen and click the + button a new tab will be opened

A new tab is opened.

Search online for Video download websites to find a website that helps you download online videos from sources like YouTube. The site we will be using for this guide is Downvids.net.

Step 5:

Go to downvids.net in the new Tab u just opened.

Scroll down to the text box next to download and Select Paste to paste the previously copied YouTube web address.

After pasting the link to the video. click download wait for the download to load then click (Download this video)

Wait for video to Download


You can also download the video in MP3 format (Audio) or in MP4 (Video) format

Same method can be used for Downloading Facebook Videos.
